This pizza is a favorite of my son-in-law David, when he was working in his teen yrs at a pizzeria he made it all the time, so tonight he’s teaching me!! This pizza is for when you can’t decide between pasta or pizza❤️
1 recipe of pizza dough stretched out to about 12 to 14″ and left to rise slightly before toppings are put on (OR use a ready made crust of your liking but it can’t be to thin!)
1/2lb regular spaghetti , cooked and drained well
Homemade or jar tomato sauce, enough to cover pizza crust plus extra
Homemade or store Meatballs, sliced thick
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook pasta according to package till done, drain well and put back into pot to coat with some of the sauce till ready to use. If using homemade dough…(Let it rise slightly in prepared pizza pan for about 30 mins. Then rub slightly with olive oil) …. If using ready made crust just put into prepared pizza pan …. Once ready cover the dough with the sauce and some Italian seasoning (if desired) , We also brushed alittle homemade garlic butter around the crust edge of the pizza to keep it from burning.
Now take pasta and place ontop of pizza crust and sauce, place meatballs all around as you like and then top with generous amts of moz. cheese. Garnish with Italian seasonings. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 mins or until cheese melts and crust is just browning on bottom. Serve Hot and enjoy with a large Salad ❤️ It really is different and delicious!!!
