Homemade Applesauce with Rhubarb

This applesauce is amazing, the sweetness of the apples and the tartness of the rhubarb make it a wonderful combination. In the fall I do make applesauce all the time but at this time of year when a Dear friend always brings me rhubarb from his garden I have to make this sauce at least once. It’s simply made and takes no time at all…. chop and clean rhubarb, peel and chop sweet apples, add water and small amts of sugar to taste. Simmer on stove till everything is tender and you are able to mash. Leave chunky and serve warm or cold 🍎 Enjoy alone or with Pork, even as a topping for ice cream! Enjoy❤️
