Strawberry & Fig Mixed Greens Salad

imageimage

I made this salad for lunch the other day and it was so delicious I had to share! The balsamic vinegar brings out the sweetness in the figs & strawberries while the tasty olive oil adds a fresh flavor covering over the greens, together you have a simply beautiful salad❤️ Serve with some great grain bread and some sparkling water…Enjoy!!!

Each salad is filled with….

2 cups mixed greens
3 fresh figs, quartered
4 large strawberries, quartered
1 sprig of basil
1 medium sized heirloom tomato, chopped
Chopped fresh mozzarella pieces or several mozzarella pearls
Sweet Balsamic vinegar &  extra virgin Olive oil

Put together mixed greens, sliced figs, chopped strawberries, heirloom tomato wedges, Basil and mozzarella pieces.
Toss the salad with your favorite sweet balsamic vinegar and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil to taste. My husband likes alittle fresh ground pepper on the salad and olive oil drizzled on his bread but that’s your choice… Just love it!
