Baked Rigatoni with Beef, Spinach & Ricotta


Really is Just as delicious as it looks! ❤️ My husband loves leftovers so we added a little extra sauce when reheating it up, it was just as yummy! This recipe makes a lot so plan it for a big gathering and Enjoy it all!!


1 lb rigatoni pasta

1 lb ground beef

4cups homemade or store bought spaghetti sauce

1 2lb. Bag of fresh cleaned spinach

2 cups mozzerella cheese

1 16oz container of ricotta cheese

salt and pepper

olive oil

In lg. skillet heat olive oil, crumble and brown ground beef over medium heat. Once beef is browned add spinach and alittle water, cover and let steam till spinach has wilted. Stir all together, add a little olive oil and salt & pepper to taste.

In the meantime while preparing the beef and spinach, boil the Rigatoni as directed till al dente. Drain pasta and add it to the beef mixture with the spaghetti sauce, 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese and ricotta cheese.
Now pat the pasta mixture into a 13″ x 9″ prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle top with remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese or more as you like and salt & pepper.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Once time is up, check center to make sure it’s steaming hot and cheese is all melty then remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes…Serve hot 😁
