Oven Baked Italian Chicken Wings

img_3333img_3331Don’t know if you watched the Super Bowl last evening but if you live here in the Buffalo area it’s all about the “Chicken Wings” during such an event, so instead of ordering out for the fried version I decided to cook my own!! The inspiration for this  idea came from the Italian pizzeria where my son-in-law used to work, while he was dating my daughter he used to bring them home to us for a late night snack, we grew to love them and him 😁 So here is my version Dave and Andrea, wish you were here to enjoy them with us❤

About 2lbs of chicken wing drummettes, about 15 pieces

1/4 cup flour

2 lg. Eggs

1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs+

1 tablesp dried parsley

salt & pepper to taste

olive oil

cooking spray

In a large Ziplock bag add in flour and the chicken, seal bag and shake to coat. Break eggs into bowl and beat till smooth. Take floured chicken, dip into egg mixture and then dredge into the breadcrumbs. Place wings on a prepared/ olive oiled baking sheet. Spray Wings with cooking spray on both sides and bake at 400 degrees for about 40 mins till slightly crispy and browned, turning once! Serve warm with hot sauce and blue cheese dressing❤ So Yummy!!!

These wings were delicious …. The Falcons could have used these and the Patriots must’ve eaten them .. they’re winners! The Chicken, that is!
